    I think I'll just stick with my Max for a while and see what the prices are like. If the past is anything to go on, we'll only have to wait a few more months and the card will reduce by about 30%

    And ChronosZero, I don't know what grocery store you went to, but 50 bucks doesn't get you that much food these days, not good food at least!

    Cheers Till

      If you mean good food as in:
      * heavily processed packaged and frozen food (like TV dinners and such)
      * heavily processed breakfast cerials with massive sugar contents. (bleh)
      * Snack foods such as pop tarts, muesli bars and coke
      * copious quantities of expensive meat.

      Then your $50 dollars won't go that far.

      It goes much further if you buy:
      * fresh fruits and vegatables
      * Not the most expensive breads on the shelf
      * A reasonable quantity of meat.

          English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

            I'm sure quite a few people will be sending "gift" matrox cards to some lucky folks down under. Most customs agents wouldn't bother stopping it because it's bound to happen in small enough quantities to not impact the economy, therefore they won't bother. And that's assuming the package even raises a flag to cause it to be examined closely.

            As for the food, yeah... Shopping for fresh foods is the way to go. It saves heaps of money and generally tastes better too. I did most of my shopping at Wollys. Unfortunately I moved back to the states right before they reopened the farmer's market in Manly. I would have loved that.
