      Well, in that case it is a true 512-bit chip then as many people have been arguing that it is not.

        TDB,
        I didn't mean that the card would have 32-bit registers. It would obviously have to be designed to hold all 40-bits and not waste space. I was mostly referring to transferring data from your CPU on a 32-bit bus.

        As soon as it's Monday morning and Haig is awake, I'll post a few messages on the Matrox forum, and we'll see what they say.
