      Could this be downloaded somewhere?

      Could this demo be downloaded somewhere? Or could any1 post i to some ftp if this wasn't forbidden by Matrox. I'd really like to try it on my GF4. I think it should work if there is no matrox only protection.

        I highly doubt the tech demo would work on anyother card... believe it must detect a Parhelia card to work, but haven't tried on anything else (G series related) cuz it's so bloody awesome!

              judging by those screenshots, I may say. this is the coolest techdemo i have ever seen screenshots from.
              This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.

                Although I really appreciate the quality of the pictures, I would like to mention that the colours of the fishes are not real. And I know what I am talking about as I have them same fishes in my tank at home.
                I am watching the TV and it's worthless.
                If I switch it on it is even worse.

                    - I was wondering... How can you say the Pictures look great when you dont have a Parhelia. It is a tech demo showing IQ right? Im just saying... If you think those shots look nice, imagine the real thing on a Parhelia . -

                      Sinistral,
                      Well I know I am very confident in what people say and show.
                      Maybe I am wrong. But to old to change.
                      And mdhome,
                      Yes I once had a shark in my tank, although it was a small one Smaller than the one in the shots anyway.
                      This being said and admitted, the OTHER fishes are not the proper colours. But it does not in anyway change anything to the pictures quality. It is only a question of the artist's view and it otherwise looks very realistic indeed. If motion has the same quality.
                      Oh, and I know you were only joking. You were, weren't you?
                      I am watching the TV and it's worthless.
                      If I switch it on it is even worse.

                        Imagine it with FAA-16x running as well. I have two 1024x768 images up that illustrate it well. Just remember they are 2.5 meg TIFF's1;

                        NO FAA-16: http://digitalvideo.8m.net/no_faa-16.tif

                        FAA-16: http://digitalvideo.8m.net/faa-16.tif

                        Now....after looking at them remember that these are with a 16 bit display and not 32 or gigacolor. Those look even better.

                          You know what... I don't see much AA on that faa-16 picture.
                          Look at front bottom fin (pelvic fin)

                          The only AA I see is on the background and on some parts of fish.
                          Not on fins.

                            Don't see much of a difference either, except on some elements of the background.
                            I am watching the TV and it's worthless.

                              Check the spike-like dorsals, tube worms and the other areas pointed out on this magnified detail;

                                I see a difference on everything from the coral reef, to the fish(fins, tail, body line), to the background cliff. Very nice shots
