  • BBoyz, i have a favor to ask...

    Hey,
I have this montruous liquid-cooling rig here (using some very expensive Fluorinert(tm) ) and I'm building the heat exchanger for my (pre-ordered) Parhelia. Is it possible for one of you guys to take the Parhelia out of your case (I know it's a lot to ask for a MURCer ), remove the HSF assembly and take a picture of the bare card ? That would allow my to know what kind of chip (BGA, EBGA, MEBGA, OLGA) I'll have to work with and how much space I have...

Plus, I'm sure the forMURCers would appreciate seeing one before they get it...

    Thanks in advance (I hope . . .)

    Sorry, no can do.
We have been told that if we break the card in any way, shape or form that we won't get another one.
I'm not about to take the chance of screwing something up by removing the HS.

In that case, can you tell me, by looking by the side of your card, if youR'E able to see the type of packaging of the chip?

There's an actual photo of the card&chip (WITH markings, etc), top-down in some thread here

Try a search for "PC Games" or pcgames or something like that

Thanks a lot man, now I have a few ref. points I can base myself on EBGA packages are MUCH easier to cool (IMO) than BGA... Already working on ACAD... (I just came back from Astérix and Obélix: Mission Cléopâtre and it ROCKS (especially Monica Bellucci )
