video capturing with matrox g450????

Hi there,

I have a matrox g450 dual head and I want to connect mu cam corder to it so I can put my movies on cd.
Is this anyhow possible or do I need to get myself an other graphic card????
Can somebody tell me also what kind of hard and software I need?

The g450 alone can't do video in. You need a Marvel card to do that. Otherwise just get yourslf any TV/video capture card (e.g. Hauppauge WinTV, pinnacle etc) and then you can capture.

If you want to do it professionally, get a hardware MPEG capture card like the RT-2500
