Something special? Ha.. Lorne should send Ant a booth babe for all that he's done for Matrox over the years. In fact, Ant's administration of this site should serve as a clear message to all big corporations who feel tempted to abuse their power: honesty and evenhandedness will get you more customers and more popularity than any number of "dirty tricks" (like we see from companies who try to rule the world, like Microsoft, Intel, or now, nVidia.) I'm glad to hear the powers at M have come to their senses. Ant deserves it. (If I were Lorne, I would send Ant a nice fat server and his own T3 line to use at his discretion.. no strings attached.)

Originally posted by Reckless Don't be so sure that a few small voices here had anything to do with it?! MAYBE it did help or speed the process up a bit?! Whatever, he's soon going to be performing one of the most difficult tasks yet - reviewing a card that has seemingly failed to meet a large amount of users expectations (specs are fantastic, product falls short is the general theme although not from the beta testers ... but then they didn't spend $400 on it...)
As for the 'something special' ant will get pick one from following(no particular order):
*Something Haig related
*Something Carmack related
*A shark toy or keyring or something with the parhelia logo on it. Gives new meaning to the words 'bite me' (cough nvidia)
*A LAAAAARGE quanity of alcoholic beverage to help him forget all about parhelia and nv30 and blah blah********************

Nobody from Matrox has spoken to me so I know as much as you guys, although I have heard that the something special is a life size blow up rubber doll of Haig
