I found the reviewers comments more interesting than the article:

I'm in the same boat with a GF3, and trust me on this, the Parhelia is still much slower in most games than even a straight GF3. It's not that the Parhelia is slow, but it's not as fast as I like to play at high resolution (a la Quincunx/2X AF) as the GF3.
