Because you don't change resolutions? Because you don't place them where the resolution change would mess them up?
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Probably because you don't switch your desktop resolution 20 times a day, like some of us do...
      Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

Drizzt have you every used two monitors (or maybe 3 monitors) at the same time?
        Main: Dual Xeon LV2.4Ghz@3.1Ghz | 3X21" | NVidia 6800 | 2Gb DDR | SCSI
        Second: Dual PIII 1GHz | 21" Monitor | G200MMS + Quadro 2 Pro | 512MB ECC SDRAM | SCSI
        Third: Apple G4 450Mhz | 21" Monitor | Radeon 8500 | 1,5Gb SDRAM | SCSI

Wrong. I told you the option is there on my Max (a G400).

It's absolutly NOT useless. I'm a software developper and switching the rsolution and colordepth for testing purposes is normal for testing our appliactions.

As I have placed many icons on my desktop and many of them are placed at bottom or at the right border of the desktop, this is a very important and very much used feature I want also for the Parhelia.

The windows save/restore feature is much more useless!!!

Ok, it seems it is really usefull

Sorry, but as being a programmer I thend to have few icons onto the desktop and never needed changing the res

(and, having 6 icons onto the desktop, if I want to mess the I have to change the res to 32*32 )
Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.

OK... I found it... It is in the "Options" tab but before I think you could get to that option if you right clicked on PD icon in the tray... Now it's gone...
Bah... I turned it on now, and I'm happy...
