Give me a break Ghost and all you fan boys of matrox.
You all got screwed with the Parhelia and know it!
Upgrading to latest ms bloatware may be just fine for your limited world, but for those of us who work lotsa hours with "other software" much of it doesnt work with the latest tetetubby ms operating systems.
FWIW, ive been reading these forums, and all these matrox fanboys who claim Parhelia isnt for gaming afterall, then stick with your G400's, the 2D is better quality.
Fact of the matter, ATI & Nvidia seem to cator to "ALL" customer base's (including the matros base of win98/95 users who stuck with matrox hype for so long)
Matrox is a sinking ship, check out ATI's launch site for the 9700 WOW, finally a next gen card worth the money.
If you want 2D as good as matrox, get a Leadtek GefoRce 4 or upgrade to the ATI Radeon 9000 series. The ATI radeon 8500 even beats Parhelia.
Keep me posted if matrox actually produces a card worth the money, and can even come close to the competition.
For now, ATI canada, and Nvidia USA rule.
