G550, w98se, latest drivers off this site.
I had the monitor plugged into the DVI adapter, into the DVI slot. Then had the Break out plugged into the VGA. I came home one night, my computer reset somehow, and the monitor was displaying nothing. I took off the breakout cable, took the adapter off the monitor cable and plugged it into the VGA port. I get video now, but can't get the monitor to work on the DVI port of the g550.
Am away from computer now, if you can help at all with the above, great, otherwise tell me what you need to know about the computer and I will get back. Thanks.
