This is a card for people who do everything on a PC I'd say. If it's only multimonitor support, there are G550s for up to 2, and G450MMSs for over 2.
If it's games you "do", then "do" it with a Radeon9700.
If it's everything. Parhelia.

I agree 100% I bought my Parhelia for Games....
Oh wait, no I didn't. I specifically bought it because Matrox trashes the competition in 2d quality, has the best multimonitor support and because I think it'd kick ass to be able to have three screens for developing. Hopefully they'll release the linux driver soon so I can actually do some serious WORK. WindowsXP is only good for playing Games. The Parhelia does Awesome in it's own respect in that area (Try UT with and without FAAx16 and you'll know what I mean.

I agree with the last two posts. Matrox cards are best when you do everything with your PC...
For me, however, everything includes occasional dual-booting to Win98. Would someone be kind enough to remind me what kind of minimal support the OS comes with 640x480 only or better ?
Actually isn't there a way to use the Vesa driver for win9x? Through something like Sci-tech's stuff? It's been a long time since I even looked any of that stuff up, but it seems feasible enough.
