No, it's not up to tech support either.
Tech support is there for.....tech support.
They can take the bug reports, and pass them on, but that's generally the end of their involvement.
It's up to the software guys to fix the drivers.
And then it depends on just exactly what the problem is. There are several teams of software guys (OGL, D3D, PD, etc...).
It has been stated many times that the issue of Anisotropic is being looked into. Hmm, while they're at it they need to fix FAA, OpenGL, D3D, Surround Gaming (Oh wait, I can't afford two more monitors after forking over the 400 bucks for the video card :-( ) Am I forgetting something???
Actually I'm quite happy with my Parhelia right now, especially knowing that Matrox will get everything right, they just need the time to do so. I just wish the programmers working on patching Neverwinter Nights could get their act together. I have more problems with that game than any other!
Keep up the great work, Matrox! And please for the love of GOD release those linux drivers!!!!

Some german Matrox guy said that they will sort the Aniso problems out in future driver releases, this was about 6 weeks ago.Specs:
