I have a Parhelia in a MSI K7D Master L with 512MB of regular Crucial PC2100 and two MP1800's @ 1656, 11.5 x 144FSB. No problems, runs 24/7 and is my daily driver. Also had the P in an Epox M762A with two modded XP2000's and 512MB of Crucial Reg ECC. The Epox will only do a 143FSB, has no vcore adjustment and won't run with regular memory.Last edited by SCompRacer; 8 September 2002, 18:38.MSI K7D Master L, Water Cooled, All SCSI

I own a Thunder and have Crucial memory, no problems whatsoever. Crucial Europe explicitly denies any incompatibilities with this board and garantees faultless operation. You can call to verify.Tyan Thunder K7|2x AMD AthlonMP 1.2GHz|4x 512MB reg. ECC|Matrox Parhelia 128|Full specs

Yep, I've got a Thunder here as well with Crucial in it. I just had to replace the memory last week - I'd been having problems for ages, but only recently pinned it down to the memory. Got a replacement and it's running fine now. I don't think this was a Crucial-specific issue, just a bad module. At the same time, I've had no problems at all with my Tiger. But Tyan did specifically take Crucial off their list, and Tyan care a lot about these things, so there must have been a reason.
Taz, I don't recall who uses which memory, but don't forget that the design of the actual module is a factor too.Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.

BTW, I might have confused some people with my Corsair comment earlier - take a look at http://www.corsairmicro.com/main/com...nregpc2100.pdf - this is what I was talking about. Corsair and Tyan have specifically qualified some of their modules against the Tyan 760MP boards. There's a Tyan-specific newsgroup (don't remember the exact name), and generally they recommend the above-mentioned Corsair modules and warn against Crucial with regard to the Tyan MP(X) boards.Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.
