or, maybe someone could point us towards him so we might be able to get some things moving

Whether it be driver support, support utilities, quality and reliability of
software or hardware, professionals can expect the same leading support that
Matrox has become known for around the globe.
Anybody else besides me feeling ripped off ?
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...
if they actually replaced all the faulty boards with new fixed ones for free, i would be extremely impressed.
I would actually call their support "legendary", if they did just that.
they could turn this into a good thing and and improve their repuatation ALOT, they might even get a little famous for taking their own support seriously, and set them apart from their competetion, in the harsh IT-world, where good support is an expensive "feature".
It would of course cost matrox alot of money, but a good reputation is also worth alot of money...

Well that's really nothing to be that impressed about. In fact, it would be the normal thing to do. Even ATI who are surely NOT known for their user-friendlyness are RMA'ing the R9700 without problems when the "banding-issue" occurs (that seems a bit similar to the Parhelia issue).
I guess the main difference is that ATI still has the money to do so while Matrox might not.

I tried the cable that was supposed to be used for the second and 3 monitor as my primary and what a difference. As the Banding was MUCH MUCH!! less intence
This may not be the case for everyone.
I was wondering if I would loose any quality though?

Right I have adjusted the AGP aperture size to 128(It is recommended that you set it to the same as you video memory), and then locked the V-snyc and that appears to have made it better. So are initial speculation was wrong and because of this I can say with a little confidence that it could be fixed with bios and driver updates, or everyone could buy tft's with DVI ..lol
I've posted this info over at Matrox too in case it's of any relevance...
My monitor (IBM P260) is a CRT that uses DVI and it does not exhibit the banding problems. When I get chance I'll try my Eizo on the Parhelia and see if it is apparent when using bnc and analogue which I presume it would be. Is anyone else using bnc or just the normal analogue VGA connector?
