You are probably right K6, but two problems with the 1U, nailing it to the card and size. I've printed out ALBM's Cooljag piece and it looks and sounds good.

The CUV2AB is smaller and quieter and neat. The test reviews were great. I think Greebe said it would cover the core and that the corner tips were heat spreader so it should be ok.

But I'm still waivering. Any more advice?

Good one! Tonight wasn't right to launch into that one anyway. Thanks for deferring my mania!

Ultra silent in comparison too the P. cooler, and it cools a little bit better But you must pay attention, the heatsink is realy moveable, so you must look if the heatsink sits on the right place if you install the card.
          System:
          P III-S 1.4@1.52
          512 MB SDR-Ram

That looks just like the stock cooler on the 3D Prophet 9700 Pro.

...well...it looks exactly like a stock Titan TTC-CUV2AB which both Gohan and I have clapped on the P with Titan Silver Grease butter. I don't see where they've nailed the clips in though...

They've got some guy's mug in the fan sticker where mine says Titan...

Cute little RAM heat sinkies too.

This cooler is great! The P. stays a lot cooler, and is more silent. And by the way, it looks great too!

What's neat about those cute little ramsinks is that they're also on the back of the ram and they also put a small heatsink on the back of the GPU (VPU, whatever) managing to overclock it to 355/710 with stock cooling.
                  more pics

Yes. But the Radeon 9700 GPU is a pagegflipped design and doesn't give much heat to her backside

Yes, might be overkill with the VPU but it worked well for the ram.
Could Hercules be getting them orbs from Titan ?

Yes. It seems that Titan ist since the kyro2 the offical Cooler manufactur for Hercules. The Radeon8500 and Kyro2 have the Cuv1ab cooler from Titan.

...yeah, it's great! Running 42C to 46C instead of 46C to 52C. Temp variations are slower too.

Notice the tippy corners of the P poking out. Hope that's no problem...

                                FYI: Parhelia's GPU die size is ~15mm x 12mm
