I'm not having any luck at all with my P. I've been running 3Dmark2001 and I can't even finish it at 5 or 10% overclocked And thats with big ass copper HS on it. I'm not sure if its due to me using the newest drivers or not, but I keep getting .net driver errors. Is there any special tools needed to uninstall these drivers? I want to see if its the P giving me problems or the drivers that aren't ready for 3D games is.

Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Anyone else getting this weird error after running 3dmark? I looped it twice because I've had a few problems with my system this evening, and after looping twice, 3DMark finishes, and I have this error waiting for me at my desktop:

On a positive note, I just benched Retail UT2003 at 1024x768 and the Frame Rates are up a bit, 51.838257 {Bot Match} and 115.176270 {Flyby}. Pixel Shaders also appear to be fixed in UT2003, as the water looks beautiful.

*Sigh* I cant even get through 3dmark now. The error is waiting for me at the desktop when it crashes. Im not sure if this is related to the new drivers, or my system as a whole at this point.
Guess I'll have to go back to the previous drivers to find out...

          Mike

          Update:

I ran 3dmark one more time, this time closing both the coloreal and Matrox Powerdesk HF Tray icons, seems to have gotten through it. I guess I'll have to do more testing tommorrow before I can be sure what the problem is.

          Final Update for tonight:

Ok, Playing around with PowerDesk HF settings, I got the error again, so it seems its either something my system doesnt like about the .NET runtimes I'm using or something that Powerdesk doesnt like about them. I just noticed GT98 is experiencing .NET issues as well, glad to see I'm not the only one Hopefully Matrox can help us in regards to these errors. Otherwise seems to be a great driver set so far.

I suggest you wait for a while. See the thread about image problems in 3D apps. If it turns out to be HW related, Matrox is in serious trouble. And yes it is very noticeable. I noticed it immediately when playing OFP thanks to the bright sky. I just wonder if the QA and beta people should have their eyes checked ASAP.

for those that get an error in .NET

                    - make sure you have .NET SP2 installed
                    - uninstall PD1.02, as it has a new uninstaller
                    - reinstall PD1.02

                    - post back if this helped ...

These profiles are uber sweet, but I am concerned about .NET problems . Think im gonna wait for final release of 1.02s and try them then.

No .NET problems here...also, K6-III, NOLF2 works perfectly for me and is much more playable at 1280 with everything on.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Where is the uninstaller for PD1.02? Is it the add/remove programs in the control panel?

its good to see that other people are having problems with .net errors...I thought it was me overclocking my card

I think he meant the Matrox one in the Utils section...worked great for me.

Finally! This release allows for changing the order of the monitors in TripleHead. This, in it self, allows me to finally use TripeHead in Linux, since the monitors doesn't switch places anymore when going between Linux and Windows. Wheee..
