Removing Parhelia heatsink

Just wondering how you guys removed the heatsink on Parhelia? I tried to remove it to put on some AS3, but I was too afraid to destroy the card so I didn't use any power to get it off.

Any advice on heatsinks that fits the Parhelia without to much modifications?

I just put a Big fan beside it and it seems to do the trick
