    Cost may not go down but at least you can say that there are nothing wrong with output problems. Or at least include analog and say that their are banding issues. Either scenario is better than what is going on now.

      It wouldn't be cheaper to make it a dual DVI card... the only way you could make it cheaper would be to drop the amount of memory and make it an analog only dual monitor card... really isn't much else that can be done to it besides reducing the quality of the power circuitry, which would probably require dropping clock speed too....

      look at the parhelia... the only other chips on the board are the TMDS transmitters, the memory... the rest of it is (mostly) for ensuring signal + power quality or for termination...

      on the other hand, this certainly would explain why the cards that Newegg were selling for so cheap didn't have any of the DVI->DB15 cables or adaptors.
