most stable drivers for G400 SH

Hi, gonna build a second computer using my G400 16meg SH card.

My dad, who is computer illiterate, will be using this one for business apps. No games at all, just email, word processing etc etc.

Which driver set is the best for this situation? iI will be powered by a P3-800e, Asus P3B-f and 512 megs pc133 on WinME.

If you want a stable box, at least run 98SE, not ME. That system with that much RAM though, and you could run a Win2K or XP setup, which would be even more stable.

All recent driver sets have been excellent (i can only speak for 2K/XP though). So just grab the latest. I'd also recommend 2K for your dad, actually XP should be a tad more user friendly.

love to get him XP or 2K, but he is on a budget for this box, hence the used parts from my machine. Up here in my area (western Canada) XP or 2k is around $150 or more.

ME and 98se are free, as I have both. I was thinking of ME for him because it has restore, and I'm pretty sure he'll need it

so latest drivers?? Not the microsoft certs?? Those were the 2 I was wondering about.
