Yo guyz
I'm having a lot of trouble with setting up my P in Win2k.
I'm currently using Dualhead to drive my primary monitor and my projector as two independant displays with features enabled. All good here.
However, every time I'm using the DVDmax feature the resolution changes from 1368x768 to 1024x768 (when WMP or any other DS/ActiveMovie capable player starts playing video material) and thus f***ing up my view by adding black bars on both top/bottom and sides to any wide screen material. REALLY REALLY ANNOYING!!!
The DVDmax feature is rendered borderline useless because of this.
Do any of you now how I should configure players/drivers/Windoze/any3rdpartysoftwareyoucanthinkof so it leaves the resolution on the feature display alone.
I'm using the latest drivers 1.03.00.043 and have used Matrox's own tool to create this 16:9 resolution for my projector.
Also used Powerstrip make a monitor .inf file to load into Windows, so it lists the "monitor" as my projector and not as a standard monitor and where the native resolution of 1368x768 is listed.
I've had it working the right way on my last Windows installation, but now I can't get it right. What do you suggest I fiddle with? I've been through every setting on the Matrox configuration panel, but all has been in vain so far.
Cheers
