No, the G250 is a real card. It's a die shrink of the G200, runs at the same speed, but has no fan on the heatsink. It was sold only to PC manufacturers.

You can't. They weren't even white-boxed. Try eBay. They were only in Compaqs or something.

The later G200's also came without any heatsink. I used to have a G200 LE (SDRAM 8MB) which came without any heatsink. So it looks like the later G200's sold to OEM's were badged G250's!!
