P. core clock and mem clock

Taking the risk to be told an ignorant I'll like to ask about the Parhelia clock speeds.

I think to know that in a motherboard it's better (in performance) to set the FSB for the CPU and the MEM to the same speed.

So my question is if this happens too in the Parhelia?, I know it's not going to be the same speed but maybe a ratio. So maybe I'll get more performance using 230(core)-280(mem) than if 230-300 for example.

Regardless of the core speed the mem is independent. The higher speed will show an increase, but mostly only when higher resolutions tax it.

Because RAM isn't the only factor. There's trace delay, and bus drivers, and all sorts of other stuff that takes away. Short answer: you're RAM doesn't actually have 3.3ns to do its job.

Sure you can fix this, just fab a newer faster revision of the GPU and a new 8 layer pcb... just joking

You can always try extreme cooling/10% overclocking/ on the core, but upping the mem frequency won't do a hell of a lot...
