  • Overclocking Millenium G200

I've tried overclocking before using powerstrip but even trying to overclock 1mhz over stock speeds any type of game will instantly crash when started up

Why should you wish to do this?

I used to overclock my G200 in the past using PowerStrip. Just place a fan over the stock heatsink, thats more than enought.

If you wish to OC the G200 to it's fullest use MGA Tweak (found on the MURC home page)

There have been many posts here on results achieved and with what settings, just do a search

I got an extra 10-15MHz out of my G200 by removing the heatsink, replacing the yucky epoxy with Arctic Silver, and putting the HS back on, then using vinyl screws to put a 486 fan on the heatsink.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
