  • Q: Matrox Athena and Atlas???

    Hi!

SciTech Software is currently asking customers which card should be supported in the next release.
SciTech has a universal driver for OS/2, Windows, QNX and Linux (don't know if the Linux version has been officially annouced yet).

Whatever, they mention a Matrox Athena and a Matrox Atlas.
    Never heard these names.
Who has answers? Are these the medical version of the Parhelia?

The Atlas and Athena are rather old Matrox chipsets predating the orginal Millennium if my memory serves correct.

I believe there was also a Titan which predated them a little.

I actually have an Athena-based card here (an Ultima). Unfortunately it's dead
