OK, I have a problem. Maybe some of you guys already encountered something similar...
I want to install G550 in a HP Vectra machine... Funny thing is, it works perfectly if I install it in Windows NT4.0, but when I switch to Win2K, installation goes fine, and when it restarts everything looks fine, but I can't switch colour depth nor resolution. In processes tab in task manager there are mgabg.exe i pdesk.exe present, but there's no Powerdesk icon in the system tray.
It could be that monitor is the culprit, because instead of Plug'n'play monitor I have "Default monitor" installed, and Update driver button is grayed out...
Machine is based on a i815 chipset with integrated graphics...
Intel drivers have been thoroughly de-installed before installing G550...
Any ideas?
