  • New drivers (probably beta) on M's site for G4xx

Subject says it all. Was just browsing their FTP site today to see if anything has come out for the Parhelia. Seems they usually release new drivers on Fridays.....

    Wah! Wah!

It seems that beta drivers were so nonproblematic that they shortly became nonbetas (at blitzkrieg speed I would say ).

Eventually beta testers didn't want to test anything this time and have convinced people in charge that the drivers are really ok already ;P

There's hardly even developers for G series, if you take the reports of Gxxx dev-rel into consideration.

Haig told at Matrox Tech Support Forums on Friday, that the reason for delayed driver release has something to do with adding some new features to drivers, that still need finalizing.

                            Good good good.
Something to do with media clips... hmm...
I hope it is software overlay on 2nd head while the 1st head and dvdmax is still hardware overlay.
