Nobody said anything about the next drivers to be released being DX9 drivers.
Don't hold your breath.
It will happen eventually, but not in the next release or two for sure...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

He was implying some new features...not necesarily DX9 support...
Either way, when the DX9 drivers do finally come out, don't expect anything earth shattering. They aren't going to make any real difference, even in FartMark2003...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

I'm already happy if we get a driver Soon™ that fixes some bugs (fog bug, etc). Instead of a useless dx9 driver, because there are no games yet that make use of dx9.Last edited by KeiFront; 5 March 2003, 12:29.Main: Dual Xeon LV2.4Ghz@3.1Ghz | 3X21" | NVidia 6800 | 2Gb DDR | SCSI

Dungeon Siege is very broken in the newest ones.
JoelLibertarian is still the way to go if we truly want a real change.
