yup. nowhere is right. the graphics processor itself is 256-bit. Meanwhile the G400, G450 and G550 memory interface are of the same "data rate" assuming their memory runs at the same clock.
Oh yea. does anyone knows what memory interface the G450MMS uses? (Too lazy to read up the PDF )
Seriously, I really wish to see a G550 with a 128-bit DDR SDRAM controller, 64MB of frame buffer memory. (and of course DX 7 competible T&L + DX8 vertex (and hopefully pixel) shaders. probably that's the specs the origional G800 planned, with displacement mapping (i thought in GDC 2000 or something Matrox demonstrated an unnamed graphics hardware doing HDM, even before the G550 went into the marketplace)
Edit 2: Okay nevermind. G450 never came with 128-bit SDRAM. My bad
