Matrox Marvel video box!

I have here an 8meg marvel g200-tv! minus its video dongle/box thingy...

Are the boxes able to fit both the g400-tv, g450-tv and g200 marvel? i recently bought an unused box + leads for my g200.... just waiting for it to arrive!

*the thing that bothers me is ive seen a picture of what im getting and only just noticed it hasnt got a tv-tuner plug! there is a rubber cap in there instead and a spdif port? i think?

Hi,

The box for the G200 has a spdif connector where as the box for the G400 doesn't, hence that rubber cap.

You can use either box on the G200 marvel or the G400 marvel.

If you need the tuner, then you will have to get the box with either the PAL tuner or the NTSC tuner.

The G450 eTV has break out cables instead of the box.

so i must have got the box without the tv-tuner!

im glad it will still work tho i got the g200 very cheap and want to try the video capture side out!
