Just noticed at matroxshop that the Parhelia 128MB now costs $449. Didn't it cost $399 before?

I guess the rule is: when somewhere people (statistically) have less money they pay more for everything...
come to think of it...it doesn't piss me anymore
I think I got used to it.
oh wait...almost forgot - we have one of the cheapest fuel available in Europe. But that's because there aren't any 'road taxes' in it (we pay them separately). So in practice, we have cheap fuel (so everybody passing Poland buy it here) but we are the only ones paying for the road repairs (and NOT the drivers of trucks driving W Europe <-> E Europe) :|
probably that's why they are in so poor condition...

Not to start a 'pissing contest', but visit Hungary once. We have the most expensive fuel in Europe(>1$/L) and the worst roads(at least we're in the bottom 5 I'm sure). I agree with your first chapter totally.
This is why we want M to bring out a very fast card for cheap.

Oooh I could say so much about fuel prices/margins etc around Europe... But I won't, 'cos I'm not really allowed to...DM says: Crunch with Matrox Users@ClimatePrediction.net

OK, I have to admit, that you won if we consider only price.
But please compare the quality of the roads in Finland and in Hungary. I was already in Finland and saw that there definitely is a huge difference between them(and also in salaries as well). Let's agree in a draw. What do you think?

So, back to Parhelia prices. Here, the cheapest retail Parhelia seems to be 414 euros, while a bulk version can be had for as "low" as 389 euros... At ShopMatrox, the price of a retail Parhelia is 429 euros plus 20% VAT = 514,8 euros WTF, for that price I could get a Sapphire All-In-Wonder Radeon 9700 Pro delivered to my home door!

Instead of raising prices why don't they lower the price of the current AGP 4x cards (with banding issues) and release the 8x (with lots of bug fixes) at the price of the current cards??? I mean, if they really got a lot of 8x cards in stock why don't they just start selling them? I see now point in waiting for the current AGP 4x stock to be emptied.
