The press release (which is what was posted) is often circulated first and the web team sets a particular time (in this case 10:00am EST) when the product launches on the site. This is standard and has nothing to do with a "slow reaction time".

In my mind, 2 notches indicates the card is capable of install into both (1x)2x/4x slots. For 2x or 4x only cards there is only 1 notch.

what you're looking at is not necessarily the final rev.

I doubt why Shop Matrox does not ship graphic cards worldwide?

This looks like a nice, no-nonsense release of a boring () no-nonsense card. Well done Soupy .

Wow, it seems that Matrox could survive and get some money with those cards and after some time they could bring us Parhelia II.

Btw, this was my 100th post, so I finally became a real Murcer!

Parhelia was named so because it could run 3 screens at a time. Like the 3 suns of a natural parhelia effect.

                              then the P650 shouldn't really be a G650

Well done Matrox! I just can't wait 'till they get to the shops here. If they can do some gaming at an acceptable level, then I gotta have one.
BTW, how come that the GPU is 256bit? Isn't the original Parhelia an 512bit GPU?
Is this LX based on a newer core? What do you think?
