You should ask Haig or Sales Soup or call Matrox.
??
the only dual-DVI G-Series cards are the G550 Dual-DVI (AGP) and G200/G450 MMS dual (PCI)

I don't think matrox will make it on PCI.
For a P or P-LX in PCI interface, the only desirable feature is triplehead. But there are already high priced G200/G450 MMS. Launching such a card may alter the price structure of MMS cards, and I don't think Matrox will be happy of such situation.

While you're here Soupy, can you comment on the likelihood of PCI P-series cards? I think that would be a very good thing for Matrox.
As George YS mentioned, it would probably cut into MMS sales...that being said, I don't think that's out of the realm of possibility, given that we released the G450 PCI quite a while back with no G550 PCI-based solution to follow.
