matrox g200 info.

Hi guys!,

I have recently bought an old matrox g200 millenium II trying to get a better performance instead of the mother board´s on-board video card.

What i want to know is a bunch of good sites reviewing that card ,with good info ,good benchmarks ,etc.

If you got docs,pdf ,etc .they are welcome too.

Is it a G200 Millennium, or a Millennium II?
They are 2 very different animals.
And what kind of on-board video does your motherboard have?
There may or may not be any benefit to switching, depending on the answers to these questions.

@theoden. Is it an AGP or PCI card? If it's a PCI, Maybe you should have grab yourself a G450 PCI for more fun After all, they shouldn't be too expensive

The mother board is the famous pccphips 810 and it´s video card is the anti-3d sis630/730.
The mentioned g200 is a g200 II AGP with a huge VRAM capacity of 8 MB.

I´m trying to get a matrox g400 ,but i don´t think it will happen.

Maybe you are asking ,why is he so greedy ?,and the truth is that here in Argentine ,new pc hardware has almost dissapear and used (old)hardware is the most common option.
