  • Pretty nV Gal into Parhelia?

You all know the Demo Dawn nVidia uses to show off what Geforce FX can do? Something like Reef Demo but much more delicate and complexed. That demo Dawn can be run in Radeon9800 card with a little help from the engineers of MIT.

Then can Parhelia run this too? Might be possible but it would run like hell.

You should be able to get it to run dx9 hardware, I am not sure if they use any ATI specific opengl extensions but a wrapper for non dx9 hardware will probably never happen.

May I say again (I said in the Gen hw/sw forum), people got GF3 to work with emulation.

Our best bet is to wait for 3D Analyze now...

I find it funny that it runs 15% faster on the Radeon than the GF FX.

People in the general hardware forum are having a "hard" time when changing the demo's executable name to "quake3.exe"
