probably won't be getting my nf2 board to test umtil the end of june. will the driver be released by then?

It's a possibility but tech supp cannot give out driver release dates.

Does the nforce2 bug occur on every nforce2 motherboard?
Or just some particular systems?
And does it occur anytime, everytime or just sometimes?

We have 2 of those motherboards and it happens anytime there is massive agp transactions going on.

I was dealing with our PR group and 1 of their editors who also had similar problems but he was getting them in 3D only I think.

dfi just sent me their nf2 motherboard to test. pulled out the via chipset board and installed the nforce board. booted into xp, it reinstalled the p650 drivers and haven't seen any issues yet. anything i can test to see if this board is affected the way your test boards are?

You can try 3D benchmark apps or run a timedemo on any game and see if it crashes after a few minutes.

You can also load a huge pic (about 20M) in photoshop, cut out parts of the pic and paste it into new layers and see if that crashes.

Will it never come?

I did order a P750 (more accurately, my fiancee ordered one for my birthday). She ordered it June 10th. I am still waiting. Today, I checked and the order now says "July 4, 2003", where it used to say "End of June". I was under the impression that the cards were shipping within a couple of days of being "pre-ordered" when my order was placed. Guess not. I really hope that I don't have to wait till July 4.
