Both Matrox and kX has new drivers, timed just right when the lightning took my modems.

Sorry to hear that Zao. But consider yourself luck. A few years ago when I lived on the side of a mountain with pole lines, lightening took my whole computer, monitor, scanner, printers, telephone and sound system. Insurance paid though. It was just a PITA to get them to agree with what I wanted for my replacement system.

...wonder if this driver fixes the .Net 1.1 problem? I'm certainly not going to try it 'til somebody flatly says, yeah, this is it.

BTW, it's a mystery to me what takes an eternity to mature drivers. It's not like it's for some remote, obscure, third party hardware.

...or maybe it is? Good grief at the thought!

Er, the problem that's been reported with uninstalling&installing the Matrox drivers with .NET 1.1 present seems to have gone, I have 1.0 and 1.1 and uninstalled&installed just fine today...that WAS the problem, wasn't it?

That's hilarious, because I just barely put together this guy's computer with the P650 and had the newest drivers put in and everything. This is some guy I work with, and he's not going to be there today at work so I can't tell him to get the newest ones. Oh well, he's the type of guy that never updates his drivers unless someone tells him there is a new one. Scumhawk is like that too

Matrox drivers seem to be getting better, and more frequent release dates. Hopefully they will have some more money in the bank form the P650 and P750.

Can't wait till i get my parhelia 8x

Wasn't there a thread here recently about a page on the UK matrox site showing some wierd and wonderful "Made to Order" frighteningly expensive Parhelia (&-LX) based cards?
