Yeah, but none of those were P8x.

One was a modded P750 and the other was a modded Parhelia.

    P8X is finally near...

just before you get too excited, go have a look in the last release of drivers.

I think VigilANT I reckon he's in the same room as Binnie and Soddem. Must be doing a Murc news special.

umm... I recal someone talking about that P650 would be using cutted down version of "new revision" (so called Parhelia 8x was supposed to have some other improvments as well.)
                      I wonder who that was...

I posted this in another thread already, but to those wondering what the refresh of the drivers does, it make the P-series cards play nice with nForce2 chipset motherboards...in theory. Seems to work pretty well so far <knock on wood>

Looks like there really is a P8X, as it has made a reappearance in the INF's for 1.4.3.6, 1.4.3.7, and 1.4.3.8 (CAD drivers)

                            Shouldn't be too long now...

By the way, if any of you want the 1.4.3.8 drivers instead of the "latest" 1.4.3.5, just look under Solidworks 2003 Matrox Certified drivers...

Dunno if I should get my hopes up or not, there have been several things in drivers in the past which almost but never made it...

edit: And if it's the P8x I've heard about, it won't bring competitive speeds really. (Though since it's been in limbo so long, who knows it could have been beefed up a bit...)

                                Improvements?

Are there any known improvements in these drivers?
