I thought the folks here would get a chuckle out of this. I implemented some thinclients in my office using Linux and LTSP (http://www.ltsp.org). All of that aside, I had one machine where the on-board video did not have a decent XFree86 driver. So, I looked through all of my "used parts" for a video card.
I found my old Mystique PCI video card. After dusting it a bit, I had to give it a try. Put the card in, configured the X server, and powered it on. It not only works, but looks great and has some decent performance!
Who says you don't get bang for your buck with Matrox products?
