G200 and G4x0 cards are based on very similar (dual-bus) technology. Moreover, regardless respectable differences they have number of similaritys but that is not the point. Drivers for those chipsets are long ago completed, these are only minor debugs which donn't require lot of investments (money/time).

As a customer, I must say that I'm pretty dissapointed with Matrox's decision to omit support for RRG as a multimedia upgrade for G200 MMS. I understand their position about MJPEG support but they could at least enable TV-tuner and YUY2 capture under Win2k for us MMS owners.

Considering such bad customer support policy I would say that one should expect anything from Matrox.
