  • parhelia 128 mem speed

Anybody know what the memory modules are rated at, both retail and oem? Thanks in advance!

    Hey! I know that.

    They are Infineon DDR-SGRAM HYB25D128323C-3.3.
"3.3" means that their access time are 3.3 ns.

AFAIK some - especially bulk - boards use the 3.6ns version (same brand though).

Just in case anyone was wondering,

        3.3ns - 300MHz
        3.6ns - 275MHz

So bulk P should be able to run at retail P's memory speed.

"should" being the operative word, ive got a bulk with 3.3ns but i has real problems holding anthing above and including 300Mhz. i can squeeze 310 out of it but between 297and310 it will currupt within 10 minutes of hard use.

I wonder if it could be under-volted like Infineon mem on the ATI 9500/9700 series supposedly is?

You guys aren't counting the time that the chip needs to handle and drive signals to the RAM. Chip speed alone does not dictate the fastest you can run.
