  • Even newer bios update for Parhelia/P-x50

Was browsing the Matrox FTP and I found a new bios update. Took my Parhelia from 1.3.18 with the previous update to 1.4.20 with this one.

K6 - u have a retail parhelia i take it? can u do a pinsdump and tell me what your 10th line reads, my 10th line was reset to its oem settings however the letter was changed A when it was origionally B, i think that line 10 is the line in the bios which determines the voltage of the card as mine card locked straight away with a core of 220 with this setting, anyone have any ideas on how to manipulate this?is it a hex setting which stands of a voltage?would like to see some bios hack volt mods, i know it would bugger the card up long term, just an interesting thought.

If you could remind me how to do it (haven't done it in a while), I would gladly do it for ya...

I have retail Parhelia and I'm running @235/600 MHz.

Line 10 of my pinsfile.txt says:
                      10 2 0x830A

At present, my Parhelia tops out at 238/620.

I usually run it at 230/600, though...

I haven't played much with overclocking yet, and my Parhelia was second hand so I believe it's an earlier board.

                            I don't have Parhelia, I got P series.

                            The line reads: 10 2 0x020A

                            Does that mean anything? Thanks!
