tv out framerate drops

Using tv out to watch dvd movies and sometimes framerate drops for 10 secs and then continues normally. Is this due G400max having only 32MB memory or is my amd 1333Mhz cpu the limiting factor. I have 1GB memory running at 266Mhz.

I get consistantly smooth frame rates on my G400/P750 rig, using Cineplayer. If I use the garbage (PCFriendly) that comes on many DVDs with the movie, it will run terribly.

I don't say that this is your problem, but I've been getting awful choppiness using PowerDVD lately. I thought my DVD drive was to blame, until I tried WinDVD, and suddenly all ran smooth as silk.

I have used windvd version 4.0 I think.
