At least most of the problems with BloodRayne are fixed. (It still has flashing textures on the furthest right and left screens when you're outside.)

Give it a few weeks...we'll have snow then or be close to it...and then running with the window open should give some record-breaking OC's...

Heh ... that reminds me, I'm thinking of installing the Giant II Thermal Take GPU heat pipe thingamajiggy on my P (I know it will void warranty) and do some overclocking. Anybody done this yet?

I currently have a Vantec Copper cooler on the P (I know, it voided the warranty) and it works fine and no more high pitched whine. Haven't tried OC'ing with it though.

I'll add that the new drivers enable higher refresh rates on my p750. I run a Sony Artisan display (GDM-C520K), and with the old drivers I couldn't get more than 80Hz at 1280X1024 in gigabit mode. Now I can get 100Hz at 1280X1024, with no noticeable softness or any of the other ugliness I often see with high refresh rates on cheaper video cards. With the old drivers, max refresh at 1600X1200 was 85Hz; now I can select a rock solid 100Hz.

This is a great card for 2D work! Like DeadAgain, I'd be interested in hearing about aftermarket solutions for the noisy fan... anyone know of a a good heatsink that would allow for passive cooling?

Hi Vincent. I think some people tried it with a passive Zalmann HS, but it didn't hack it. I capped the P with a Titan TTC-CUV2AB HSF which dropped the temps (mostly) about 10C and the fan noise is about unnoticeable.
How can you possibly take anything seriously?
                    Who cares?

Thanks for the suggestions... I think I'm going to go with the ZALMAN ZM80C-HP. Since the P750 runs cooler than the Parhelia, I don't think I'll have any problems using the ZM80c without the optional fan.

My local shop should have it by Monday afternoon. I'll let you know how it goes!

Aaaah! Never overwrite the old drivers without uninstall the old ones again!
No problems while playing games, but many errors when changing powerdesk settings ...

Ah Che, my bad. I forgot to mention that when you take your old settings and they're imported into the new drivers, they don't have all of the new features of the new drivers. So there are a couple of "blanks" in the settings menu you have to change, just scroll down.

Otherwise if you leave them blank, Powerdesk will cause some errors.

Another nice thing is the memory footprint has gone down considerably with .net 1.1 (from appx 30mb to 10mb)
