And thanks for pointing out that utility, it's already downloaded and installed.
I've installed the utility from Intel ver 5.0.2.1003 but with no ungreying of the fields in dxdiag. It still doesn't activate DVD Max. I reckon this is the new AGP driver we're talking about. Maybe it is so that this Asus mainboard and the Intel chipset doesn't work well with Matrox? I don't know anymore. Matrox' latest driver 5.91 also isn't digitally signed from MS, so maybe there's something there... I always get that warning when I install the Matrox G-series driver.
