    What new info? its a "dated" design that can't compete with a $200 graphics card in terms of either features, performance and support.

    and Matrox wasn't very good at pushing EMBM into the hearts of developers. in fact, EMBM is still hardly used. all the bump mapping that is occuring in games today is done using normal maps and dot products of vectors through pixel shaders, not EMBM.

      You disagree with the amount of games that appeared after the G400Max that used EMBM. however there are howmany games using Cube mapping (Geforce) and Truform(R8500)?

      Even though it may not have been a lot of games that used it, it was more than what ATI or Nvidia acheived with their technologies.

      In regards to 'new info' I was refering to the fact that P seems to be doing well with Pixel Shaded games. This is news to me that it performs so well.
