P650 matrox sales + 1

Just ordered a P650 for a colleague at work. Hope it drived his 22" CRT IIyama 503 better than his intel integrated one. The screen was vibrating slightly up and down , could be too much caffeine tho.

Will post impressions of it.

i installed it, it is working beautifully, now it shows up that some of the corners of the screen is slightly out of focus. The intel couldnt do 1600x1200 @ 100hz

I Like the anti aliased text.

Hopefully some day, icons in windows will be vector based so they scale with screen resolution, and web pages fit the screen properly, but i guess that is down to the webdesigner / browser, maybe opera is better at doing this!

It is much less blurry, better output than my g200.

Windows must look atrocious on the ultra high res flat panels, you probably couldnt see the icons in word!! are there any tools that will give a 1280 x 1024 ratio of everything in all applications with the greater detail of 1600x 1200? and have it scaled smoothly?

Is it just me being picky?
