  • $100 rebate?

If M had a $100 rebate on the P would you be likely to buy it now even with all the other issues?

More like if the P was being sold for $100.

I would buy P8x or Pitou with a $100 rebate.

      edit: Hey Post #1111, cool.

$100 rebate is still not enough. I wouldn't pay more than $199-$229 for it. IMO, that seems like fair market price for the product if you take into acount its features, driver support, etc.

"if you take into acount its features, driver support, etc."

yeah, you mean the features that were "removed" after sale, the driver support which is stagnant on optimising them, and the ect must be the banding.

not having a dig im just feeling a little bitter at the mo.

But wouldn't all mention of the rebate probably disappear after everyone had bought their Parhelia?

Its about $399 in the US right. so about a $220 rebate for me.
BTW the cheapest they are here is $730 for 'bulk' version. or $820 for retail.

No. I would not buy it. Too many issues.

A P750 for with a US$50 rebate would be very tempting.

agree with BSDGeek: If its a Pitou, I'd buy it right away, even if it may cost 500 dollars.

But Parhelia... 400 CDN is a joke. I'd buy a Sapphire Radeon 9600 PRO and a Gainward GeForce FX 5200 PCI instead...

I'd consider buying a Parhelia if it costed 150-200€.
