Is that the only cable you need? Might be a good time to stock up?! It probably won't alter the shipping much...

Do you also have Infineon 3.3 mem? If you decide to oc it, please let me know the results.

how do I check the ram; what's the part #? I won't overclock it, as this thing already runs so hot. Just touch the PCB! Do you know of a better heatsink/fan to use? I like my stuff to last a long time!!

On the ram surface there will be a marking that will end with -33 or -36.

Don't oc if it already seems hot, I know you said you wouldn't. And the mem speed is meaningless if you don't.

I don't know of any better heatsink/fans for the P yet. But now that you bring this to my attention I have noticed my retail P is quite warm to so will look into cooling upgrades. Anybody else have some input? I hope...

Haig, can you tell me what cable I will need (the part# from the Matrox site) for the second and third head
Use the part # that bsdgeek gave you.

This is the part # for the tv out cable in case you need it:

          @Nowhere

What are the model #'s for both cards?

A little pricey, but take a look!

Also, I was browsing through Newegg's Refurbished stuff, and I noticed that they were seling a Retail Parhelia for $179!!

Looks like a nice cooler but it's $75. Probably would be nice to have. I have replaced the stock thermal tape with artic silver 3 to help out heat transfer and it cost very little as I already had it from another project. The stock tape only covered about 80% of the gpu surface.

The $236 card is working perfectly, it oc's to 225/605 vs. my retail card's 235/570 with the slower 3.6ns memory. No benchmarks yet.

The retail card has 3.6ns ram? Also, how do I check and see what my board is clocked at? Is there a way to read this off?

My retail card has 3.6 which is extremely unommon as far as I can tell. And it's confirmed to be retail.

Try a free trial version of Powerstrip to check the clocks. There are other utilities and methods for this listed in the benchmark section, some of them can be risky imo...

My friend actually got the oem card I refer to, but it oc'd so well I traded him for my retail card. He won't ever oc so he didn't care either way. My original retail card and this oem have identical IQ, as far as I can tell.

$236 is an awesome deal! I use the dvi tap and never see the banding issues either!

what do you mean by "dvi tap"?

I have a digital (lcd) monitor so don't use the analogue connector. I believe the banding only occurs on the analogue connection, tap was a bad choice of words.
