Just Download PowerStrip, and when into adpater information, and to my suprise the AGP system configuration has "transfer mechanism" disabled. Is there a way to enable DMA transfer?

    Cheers!, Steph

      Try this

Well, I was in the same boat with my motherboard and a P750, as I said. When I discovered that the AGP texturing was disabled, I posted on the Matrox Forums. Apparently, the driver that was available at the time for the P750 was not nForce2 friendly. So, a registry patch (which has since been included in later driver releases) was necessary. I believe that this was all that I had to do to fix my problem.

As for whether the G450 drivers have the same issue, I don't know. I would not be surprised, though. You are probably best off asking around at the official Matrox support forums.

In the meantime, there is always the uninstall and re-install of both your chipset and video drivers to see if it clears things up.
