"NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today introduced the NVIDIA Quadro® NVS 280 PCI, a professional 2D graphics board ideal for enterprise and multi-monitor applications...
...Available immediately in Intel® Pentium4®/Xeon® based HP workstations, the NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 PCI is a small form-factor, dual-head graphics board that can act as the main graphics head for PCI-only systems, or in combination with other PCI and AGP 8X boards, drive up to 16 high-resolution digital flat panels from a single computer. The NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 PCI features a single, high-density DMS-59 connector, which provides tremendous flexibility for dual-analogue and/or 1600x1200-resolution digital flat panels."
I don't think there's anything really new here, in fact, it looks like one of these cards will actually only give you dual analogue, which is rediculous for a pro card, but it shows that Nvidia wants some of Matrox's pie.... we knew this would come eventually!
